We officially embarked on our IVF journey on my day 1 – 11/22/2019. Autumn is slowly leaving us, see you next year gorgeous leaves and crispy air. Time to take our boots and heavy jackets out.

Day 2 – 11/23. I came in for my blood work and ultrasound. Everything was fine, and we got the green light to start medication. Two shots at night. I’m glad I grew up watching mom and dad taking care of patients, which familiarized me with pills and needles.

Day 3 – 11/24. From today, one shot in the morning and one shot at night. Medications have not brought me any discomfort yet, so very thankful for that! Meanwhile, our hearts ache hearing one of our friends’ toddle drowned in the bathtub and is now hospitalized. How much damages that caused his brain is still a question, what Jon said.
